Rainbow Chard

When I was young and couldn't sleep I would lay awake determined to imagine a new color. It would be something amazing-uncategorizable by anyone...

I am convinced now that people never really do anything "new" they just try desperately to outdo what's already been done.

This chard shames my attempts to improve the existing palette.

My sis Easton took these picts after harvest while working for 5 days on a "Twelve Tribes of Israel" farm in California. Though they seem pretty radical in their beliefs, their honest desire to live so uncompromisingly true to what they believe makes me wistful.
