I bought a new camera this spring. Love it. It's a Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX3. The camera itself is artistically crafted: small, cold, heavy, metal. I love the feel of it in my hand. That said, I am still learning how to use it...

These gorgeous Lord-of-the-Rings-esque roots were located on the far side of Lake Louise in Canada. That water is Glacial goodness-fun only for a temporary foot splash. I tried to do the arty-blurry water effect, but the whole thing is a bit out of focus. Still, I think it's a nice capture of how pretty the scene really was.
